Title: Fake Cardinal
Post by: SeanJohnson on June 24, 2023, 01:09:31 PM
Does anyone recall the name of the fake Cardinal (I believe he was a part-time college professor who claimed also to be a cardinal, and had his own website.  His story once made the rounds here in CI 5-6 years ago)?

No.  I know who he's thinking of, but the name escapes me at the moment.  That guy is a real clown.

Yeah, that's the guy.  Looks like he's been promoted to Pope now ...

I was hoping to find his website advertising himself as a Cardinal (which seems to have disappeared, perhaps after declaring himself pope of a non-existent church).

And here's the Pope with his wife:

Yet, I have to wonder who would do a better job as Pope, this insane, delusional nutjob, or Francis?

Looks like he's claiming to have usurped just about every Apostolic See:

Quote
His Holiness Bishop Rutherford I Ralphovich of Rome-Ruthenia is the Papa-Catholicos of the Catholicate of Rome-Ruthenia and Supreme Pontiff of the United Roman-Ruthenian Church. He is an accomplished leader, educator, and clergyman with more than a quarter-century of international diplomatic and executive experience. Bishop Rutherford focuses on empowering others to build transformational collaborations while improving the quality of lives. He is 266th in succession from St. Peter the Apostle as Prince of the Romans, 74th Grand Duke of Ruthenia, 142nd in Gallican-Antioch succession from St. Peter, 169th in Greco-Russian succession from St. Andrew the First-Called, 145th in Armenian succession from Saints Thaddeus and Bartholomew, and 116th in Syrian-Antioch succession from St. Thomas the Apostle.

Now, his claim to be the 266th Pope is interesting, as that's Jorge's alleged number.  So he must consider Jorge an Antipope?

He wasn't content with being a Cardinal, evidently, so I'm guessing that in light of the Bennyvacantist controversy, he jumped on the bandwagon and usurped the "papacy".

Go down to the very bottom of his website, and click on the "Disclaimer an Legal Notices" link, and hang onto your hat.

You'll come to this: https://www.statopontificio.org/legale.html

Most schizophrenic delusions are intricate, but this guy is a Rembrandt.

LOL ... and that link tries to imitate the vatican.va background "wallpaper" ... an antiquated wallpaper style that I think I used on a website in 1998.

Looks like he's also part of the "House of Johnson" :laugh1:

Guys definitely likes to play dress-up.  I've seen about 15 different "outfits" that he wears, none of which are the least bit consistent with one another.

.

Is it just me or is there an uncanny resemblance between this guy's face and that of his wife(?)? The resemblance is so close, I'm almost tempted to wonder if he photoshopped a picture of his own face on top of ... whoever that woman is.

Another possibility is that this is his sister and not his wife, whom for some reason he is trying to pass off as his wife? There definitely appears to be a family resemblance at the very least.

I notice that with a lot of couples, and don't know what to think of it. Weird for sure. It seems like some start to look more related as they age. Maybe it's some sort of visual confirmation of two in one flesh caused by God other than seen in the children. I have no idea, but I doubt it is a photoshopped face, because I notice that with a lot of couples.

I'm just going to say this, but I have to wonder if receiving the man's seed, over and over and over again, has some effect upon the woman's genetic and physical makeup, and makes her more like her husband.  Obviously, there is no similar phenomenon the other way around.

I wonder if this has ever been investigated scientifically.

Does he have a disorder that causes him to pull out his eyelashes?  I can't see them in any of his pictures

Didn’t you mean eyebrows? His wife certainly needs to another bleach job on her hair.

It would make sense to make the mother more genetically compatible with the husband for the sake of healthier offspring.

Maybe many couples today look so unrelated because they frequently divorce and re-marry.

More so due to high amount of fornication partners.

My parents were happily and faithfully married for 67 years and they did not look alike, even in old age.  Mom looked stereotypically Polish and Dad’s face was, as they say, “the map of Ireland.”

People are naturally attracted to others of similar background in most cases, despite what the woke nutjobs would have you believe.  There ARE a few exceptions where the couples have a fruitful and successful married life, but it’s the exception that proves the rule.  I know of two white men, brothers, married to black women, but in both cases, they were raised in the same religion and type of family and community structure.  The men are Beachy Amish from the US who both found wives from a church-planting missionary mission in Haiti.  No, the wives are not sisters!  They live in the US, are in farming and logging.  Both have large families, 11 and 9 children, last I heard.  Too bad they aren’t Catholic!

Two Amish brothers married to two Haitian women.  I'm just trying to imagine this.  Aside from having a heretical religion, there is, of course, nothing "wrong" with this, and as to cultural gaps, sometimes they can be bridged, sometimes they can't be.

I once worked with a woman from Haiti, Jehovah's Witness.  A total class act all the way, dignified, always dressed very modestly, and elegantly beautiful in a simple, understated way.  She could set an example for many an American Catholic woman.
