I had never heard a single song of hers until a few days ago. On the way home from work and anticipating an upcoming biz trip, I was listening to an "Asian Top 100" playlist when out of the blue a bizarrely bland talentless crooning in English made me wonder "WTF?" So I glanced at the screen. Lo and behold it was Taylor Swift. I just couldn't imagine how such fungible trash got a foothold in Asia.... except as you suggest, "a deal with the occult." Do you think the concept in the original post / thread title is incorrect? That is: Is the exorcist wrong to warn against attending Taylor Swift concerts due to witchcraft?

And even if many Trads or CathInfo members might be the type to just avoid pop music altogether, do none of us have family or friends who don’t? Yes I don't care for this video, but some of what she says is true. People make strong assumptions before they know the whole story and we do need to calm down. No one hears a person who is yelling. It is showing compassion that helps open hearts so God can enter in.

This is hard to articulate. If you really want an answer I will probably have to private message you, or we need to talk on the phone. I have been watching people for years and see that most of the time people do not try to understand where you are coming from they just interpret things from their own perspective. It is mainly the feeling of having your heart broken over and over again and the double standards of society. We all want God to some level, but we keep God from us because we are harder on others in this life than God is on us.

In the Bible, there are more verses about spiteful, nagging women (e.g. Proverbs, Sirach) than about a man treating his wife. If you have a problem with your husband, you have to deal with that since you chose him to be your spouse.

This is hard to articulate. If you really want an answer I will probably have to private message you, or we need to talk on the phone. I have been watching people for years and see that most of the time people do not try to understand where you are coming from they just interpret things from their own perspective. It is mainly the feeling of having your heart broken over and over again and the double standards of society. We all want God to some level, but we keep God from us because we are harder on others in this life than God is on us.

EWPJ, your mention of video games is really important! That is so true. Video games started out with ping-pong and pac man and then more advanced technology with cool spot and Mario cart, etc. Parents were lured into buying the games because they were innocent and fun. But little did parents realize the addictive nature of video games! These video games mostly targeted the boys, and once hooked, the games slowly changed and became very violent (street fighter) or occultic (Zelda). And those were only the early days, and the first examples of what became a demonically infested industry.

I've always wondered about how people like Nancy Peℓσѕι (now 83), or Joe Biden, simply refuse to retire. They have more money than they can spent. Do they believe they're on a mission? Are they being blackmailed to continue on? If it were me, if I had enough money for my family for life, I would immediately retire and devote myself to prayer and charity work.
