If you bothered to read their story, which even an idiot could find on Google, you'll see that he spent 4 years in a seminary and then left and decided to try to find someone to marry.
But why would you bother to Google it? Much better to climb onto that high-horse or yours and fantasize that a former seminarian was trawlling the internet and planning to be a "playa"
That way Trads look dumb and prone to rash judgement.

All things considered, they sound like a pretty solid couple with their heads screwed on.
I'm really not sure what attracts people like this to the modern church though. Is it just cultural legacy? Wanting to be part of something? I just don't understand the zeal for modern Catholicism. It's like licking your lips and getting excited about a bowl of cabbage soup. Sure, I'd eat cabbage soup if I was starving, but I wouldn't ever pretend to enjoy it like a fillet steak or an Italian meatball sub washed down with a Czech beer or glass of decent wine.
As for Pope Francis blessing my marriage I think I'd avoid that. Pope Paul VI touched my blond locks when I was 8 years old, as they carried him past me into a papal audience, and since adulthood I've been as bald as a coot.
