    Sadly, it's not just geography that so many Americans are deficient in.
    Also history, science, math, farming, down to earth subjects, technology, etc.

    If technology wasn't handed to them on a silver platter, they wouldn't have it. They would be BELOW THE LEVEL of "cave men" if they had to survive on their own merits. At least cave men knew how to hunt, track, navigate terrain, butcher animals, and start a fire.
