    • Two weeks till Septuagesima! Then a little over two weeks to ease in so that it's not like a sudden dunk into ice water on Ash Wednesday. It seems like 2023 will be an especially penitential year.

    Same.  We didn't put ours up until the week before Christmas.  Most people have them up the day after Thanksgiving and they're down the day or weekend after Christmas.
