  • I am asking this as a question so as to understand distributes...I really do not want to hear people's opinions that are against it.

So for a small catholic community (especially for what we are entering into) I have believed that each family should own their own property in a relatively close distance from one another and use their skill to produce for their family.

I also think that each week there should be a market where each family goes to barter their goods for what they agree upon, example I make bread and I agree with Mrs. Hilo that I will give her 3 weeks worth of bread for a dress she said she would sew for my little girl. Now if there is a difficult in agreeing than a third party could be brought in.

Then if there is a family that is poorer than others certain small "societies" with help from the church members, who give weekly to provide for the poor go and distribute to those families.

Also if there are five families who provide the same service they can have a sort of guild where they come together in meetings to discuss things related to their trade and perhaps can figure out ways to help the community.

Now I don't know if this would be a distributes society or not since all I can gather online is that about private ownership and focus on the family.

Another thing is what about leadership. I believe in a monarchy as a gov't with of course the church above the king and queen and then the nobles and the peasants. But how does this work with distributism?

Any knowledge and resources would be great. Thanks
