  • Happened to catch this show on coast to coast. Seems interesting but don't want to read too much into it yet because there's others here who have solid knowledge of it.

Here's the guys website, later on they usually put the show on a YouTube to link to.

  • I always wonder why with everyone having a smartphone, iPhone or some other Giga pixel camera and exorcists claiming all sort of physical events and objects moving across the room there are not convincing videos of these events.

Why not film something levitating or flying across the room from different angles and publish it on the Internet?  Not for amusing people but for sober reflection.  Not everyone would believe, sure, but plenty of people would.

Are these events which they claim to see with their eyes, invisible to an iPhone camera?

Most people today don't believe in the supernatural.  Why not demonstrate it?

Perhaps you have a point, but it seems to me that it could be explained by reason of the events being too unexpected, such that when they begin, the person who would be making the video is stunned for just a moment, long enough to not have the recording device in position yet, and when they finally focus the camera or whatever, the event is over.

It would be far more likely to get Internet videos of a book lying on the floor, and someone saying, "I swear, this book just came flying across the room a minute ago."  Or else you might see a video of someone trying to re-enact what they had seen happen when they had not been READY to take the picture.

I have some experience in ACTION PHOTOGRAPHY, and it is essentially a matter of the photographer ANTICIPATING the scene that makes for great action shots.

It always comes down to that point.  There can be a rare lucky shot that falls into your lap, but that's not your bread and butter.  You have to be prepared in ADVANCE for consistently good action shots, that is, if you want to stay in business.  And being consistently ready BEFORE the action happens is the mark of a great photographer.

Objects flying across the room are probably not something that you can know beforehand what time that it will occur or on what day of the year.

  • You can anticipate it because possessed buildings and people are not random.

Since exorcists claim to see these events all they need do is rig up a camera on perma loop record.  I have two of these on my house. Thy cost 100 bucks each and film onto a 16gb flash card, holding several days of video.  There are billions of video cameras in the world today.

We have multiple footage video of the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami which was totally unexpected, as well as the North Tower of the world trade centre being struck by the 1st airplane, but nothing convincing from exorcisms which are known about in advance.

Nobody is claiming the most shocking events and physical manifestations are occurring out of the blue.  They appear to be suggesting that when they exorcism proceeds the physical events increase in frequency and scale so they should be easy to film.
