I have one final question (i think). What is the difference between?
Hodie
Dedicatio
Defunctorum
Parvum B.V.M
Hodie is the Office of the day. That's what you want to use every day.
Dedicatio is the Office for the dedication of a church. That's a very special occasion, which you might never use in your life.
Defunctorum is the Office of the Dead. You may want to offer that for a friend, benefactor or loved one on the day of their death or burial, or as a votive offering for their soul.
Parvum BVM is the Office of our Lady, which can be prayed devotionally, like a Votive Mass. But Her Feasts are proper in the Hodie, and there are many, so I stick with the Feast of the day.
