What do you think about the idea that ancient civilizations were given their knowledge about how to start civiliazation by fallen angels who wished to corrupt mankind? What if demons taught mankind about agriculture and warfare and other things to try to corrupt mankind and the people who learned these secrets from the demons then in return came to worship these demons as gods? This is similar to the belief that the ancient civilizations were given their knowledge by aliens which helped them build the pyramids and do other things that seem unexplainable.
There is no doubt that from the time of Adam & Eve the devils have been influencing mankind in many ways. This is Catholic teaching.
As regards astronomy and Egyptian pyramids, I am certain the bad angels gave them a knowledge that is to be found in their history.
Given there is no visual proof for their solar system, heliocentrism is conjured in the mind instead, and that had to be divulged to them by Satan so as to deceive the world from the very beginning.
‘The people worshiped the sun, moon, and stars as gods, and a knowledge of their true nature would have at once put an end to the influence of the priests, who were believed by the ignorant and superstitious crowd to be able to withhold or dispense, by prayers, invocations, and sacrifices, the divine favor. In the Holy Scriptures (3 Kings 16:31-33) we are told of Baal, the sun god of the Phoenicians, characterised by the most scandalously impure rites. Then there were the sun gods of the Canaanites and Mithraists of Persia. Sun worshipping is also condemned in 4 Kings: 23:5-11 and Wisdom: 13:2, the latter lesson repeated by St Paul where he writes ‘the circle of the stars, or the great water, or the sun and moon’ were created as witness to their Creator and not ‘to be the gods that rule the world.’(Romans 1:20)
The mysteries then spread east to Egypt where they were taken up by those whose ambitions were to control the minds of the masses.
In 1837 when popes of the Catholic Church went along with their heliocentrism paganism returned to rule mankind. The mind-indoctrinations of the devils would now bring on long-ages, evolutionism and Modernism that became the ROCK upon which agnostism , naturalism, Modernism and atheism could be built. The Genesis of God's word was replaced with the origins compiled by the Egyptians and their devils.
