I'm not at all comfortable with these priests taking their smart phones into the confessional
Oh no.  That’s worse.

I highly doubt SSPX priests bring their phones into the Confessional! If any of them has, it was surely by accident. The few SSPX priests I’ve dealt with in recent years have all spoken to the issue of not bringing phones to Confession or even inside the chapel if possible. At the least, turn them off, not just on vibrate, and leave them outside the Confessional with someone or in a designated spot.
Songbird, SSPX chapels I know of in the US were the ONLY ones open during the Scamdemic.

I speak for Ireland. For sometime in Ireland there were no SSPX public Masses, the churches were closed. They then opened for Mass once and were raided by the Gardai (Irish police force) and were shut down. After that no Masses were offered but secretly held sacraments of Penance and Eucharist. The lockdowns were severely enforced in Ireland. The only one to offer Public Masses during the lockdowns was the then Fr. Ballini which was why he was consecrated. They just did not know due to the severity of enforcement whether, Lord rest him, Bishop Williamson, would be able to enter Ireland again.
