What does that have to do with whether or not he received an impartial trial?
If I believe the cop killed him, it doesn’t make it ok to load the jury with biased jurors.
Personally, I think he was guilty of manslaughter mostly because of how he stayed on Floyd after he had become unresponsive and had passed out. Until then, the "I can't breathe" wasn't necessarily worth much, since he was saying that before, when they were just asking him to get into the police car. But after he passed out, one would think Chauvin would have gotten off and checked his vitals. Nevertheless, his death was some combination of the drugs, his heart condition, and the force used. Was the force used sufficient to cause death in a normal sober person? No. Would Floyd have died had he not been restrained that way? Not sure, but perhaps not.
There's no doubt, however, that the outcome of the trial was predetermined ... and Chauvin did not get a fair trial.
