I can't take these claims very seriously. There is no proof that I can see.
Yeti, you're constantly saying, on multiple threads, that you "need proof" or "you don't buy it".  Ok, we get it.  This site doesn't provide proof for 80% of posts.  If you keep asking for proof on everything, you'll be continually disappointed.

Why would someone downvote this post?

You really don't know? Allow me to clue you in.
Maybe someone doesn't like head games and drama? I mean, calling for YOURSELF to be banned? What kind of nonsense is that? Even going so far as to report your own post to the moderator? (which he did)?

And frankly, anyone bringing up "banning" besides the moderator -- as a threat, an invitation, a mob action -- they all deserve downvotes according to many people, including myself.
Anyone "announcing" a dramatic departure often gets downvotes -- again, for good reason. No one likes a drama queen.

I didn't downvote the post. I'd certainly say so if I did. I just wanted to aid your imagination why someone MIGHT have had a problem with that post...

Just speak simply, like men. Let your "yes" be "yes" and your "no" be "no". If you want to make a point, use plain English. It's not that difficult.

I took it as hyperbole.

I took it as hyperbole.

As did I.

But still, I could imagine someone getting annoyed with it. It's not that far-fetched.
