Despite being credited with a veritable rebranding of the Catholic Church...
Rebranding it to what???
To be (Catholic) or not to be (Catholic), that is the question (for Francis).
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous (attacks by the world),
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, (and convert the world). And, by opposing (sin), end (sin)?
Apologies to the Bard.
Francis does not want to "be" Catholic. He does not want to suffer the slings and arrows of hatred from the world and oppose sin, he appears to want to "buddies" with a sinful world, and not be troubled having to summon the courage necessary to oppose it.
It makes me really admire the courage of Pius X.
