"I am glad that we are talking about 'ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ people' because before all else comes the individual person, in his wholeness and dignity. And people should not be defined only by their sɛҳuąƖ tendencies: let us not forget that God loves all his creatures and we are destined to receive his infinite love."

In this case Pope Francis is right. We are not defined by the evil which tempts us. We are defined on how we respond to it. In the words of Nancy Reagan, "Just say no."

Sounds to me like Frank was talking to the non-fαɢɢօts--admonishing non-fαɢɢօts to overlook the fαɢɢօtry of fαɢɢօts--rather than talking to the fαɢɢօts and telling them to "Just say no" to fαɢɢօtry.  Sounds to me like Frank was implicitly saying "Just do it" to the fαɢɢօts, and explicitly telling the rest of us to keep in mind the fαɢɢօts' "wholeness and dignity," and not define fαɢɢօts by their fαɢɢօtry.

Don't define by sɛҳuąƖ tendencies?  Seems like a convenient suggestion in light of so many conciliar prietender's having proclivities for little boys.

What he said applies to everyone.

So a murderer is not a murderer, and should not be convicted as such.

An adulterer and a thief is not either, and should be given carte blanche mercy.

A prostitute and a drug addict is someone who needs love and nutrition, correct?

How have we all lived in such ignorance for so long?

No wonder the lines for confession -- woops, I mean reconciliation -- are so short.

Who needs baptism?  We're all God's children.  Just walk through the open doorway.

If you are tempted to kill someone and you resist the temptation then you grow in virtue. If you are tempted to commit adultery and resist the temptation then you grow in virtue. the same with a person tempted to steal. And yes, the penitent sinner should receive carte blanche mercy.
Jesus used to dine with prostitutes and public sinners.
Where I live the lines for confession are so long that they had to increase the times allotted for confession. Get there early or you may have to come back another time.

He isn't talking about fαɢɢօts who are resisting fαɢɢօtry!!  If some queer is staying in the closet where he belongs, people either don't know or, hopefully, are giving him the benefit of the doubt.  It's the ones engaging in fαɢɢօtry publicly and drama-queenly boasting about their sins that people even know about who are at risk of being "defined" by their fαɢɢօtry.  Conciliardom had better start defining some of its prietenders by their fαɢɢօtry before they have to pay out a few more billion $$$$$$$$$$!!

from the original link:

Despite being credited with a veritable rebranding of the Catholic Church...

Rebranding it to what???

To be (Catholic) or not to be (Catholic), that is the question (for Francis).
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous (attacks by the world),
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, (and convert the world). And, by opposing (sin), end (sin)?

Apologies to the Bard.

Francis does not want to "be" Catholic.  He does not want to suffer the slings and arrows of hatred from the world and oppose sin, he appears to want to "buddies" with a sinful world, and not be troubled having to summon the courage necessary to oppose it.

It makes me really admire the courage of Pius X.
