What is the 8th Amendment of your Constitution?
    .
The State acknowledges the right to life of the unborn and, with due regard to the equal right to life of the mother, guarantees in its laws to respect, and, as far as practicable, by its laws to defend and vindicate that right.

  • I'm having trouble with face book with posting pro life. Trad Cat stuff.  They keep sending me message that they are working against foreign interference.
I also receive a threat from them. They condone the article of teen magazine which had how to perversion for little girls.
They are Novus Ordo though recently were involved in an event with the SSPX. I can't recall them making any comment regarding the Resistance. Their members are active in pro-life activity and rosary crusades. AOH activity is mainly in the North of Ireland with the Tyrone AOH the most active.

  • Is Tyrone County AOH novus ordo?
I can't post on their face book page and they don't reply to private messages.

Just caught the USA national LAOH praising Mary Robinson on face book page.  They took it down.  But it still reaks of feminism and pro sodomy.

Most Irish Catholics AOH in America voted for Hillary and Obama and are democrats.  USA  Democrats support Irish Sinn Fein.
In the early days and certainly in the 1990s the Traddies were influential in the pro-life lobby here in Ireland. The new people on the scene are from the groups like Youth 2000 and Medjugorje prayer groups. The Trads are on the margins whilst the JPII generation are influential. As Bishop Williamson did say the 1950s are gone. The consecration the topic of the thread and the rosary crusade is getting a good response though.

  • An interesting post via social media from a pro-lifer. 'Repeal the 8th' is the abortion campaign group. Abortion campaigners are more divided than people realise but when Catholics became serious about a movement here in Ireland it was decades too late. There is a collapse of the faith and even parts of Ireland are gone because of mass immigration. The National party held their first party conference recently. A political vehicle and a solid Catholic resistance will win back Ireland. Most pro life groups have conceded there will be a referendum on abortion. Certainly interesting times ahead.

The big problem on the Irish pro-life side is a lack of unity. You have a whole bunch of groups who can't even agree a common slogan/hashtag never mind a common strategy. Meanwhile, repealthe8th is united & they stand up for one another. This could ultimately be why they prevail.

That's a beautiful video, John Grace.
    .
I've heard of Mass Rocks but I've never seen one depicted in video form. Thank you.
    .
Whoever made this could make so much more. That would be nice to see.

Here you are Neil, a friend made this one. My wife is in it.

He is currently fighting cancer. Your prayers are requested. Many thanks.

  • Yesterday abortion campaigners posed beside a statue of Our Lady and mocked Our Lady. A few pro life folk on Twitter laughed it off but here are a few snippets.

'Another ridiculous, immature stunt that’s going to work against the repeal side'

    .'The trouble is it won’t!
    Pulling down posters

Abusing women, children & other vulnerable ppl at prolife rally

Admitting repeal is about killing babies

    Fundraisers by sexual predictors

    Biased'

'Silence now but it may make people think differently when the time comes to vote.  The ones on the fence might just come down on our side.'

    .'There’s nobody on the fence!
    They’re under their beds!
    Frightened of repeal tactics!
They’re2afraid 2stand up4the unborn because they know that the majority of mainstream prolife orgs are too PC(spineless)&this includes the largest pro-life org in the country the Catholic Churc'

'Indeed. Even this evening there was a hesitance here on Twitter to address this anti Catholic tweet. A few pro lifers merely laughed it off. Childish not being classy etc etc.'

''Don’t get me wrong, this is not a Christian account nor is it Christian bashing account for that matter... but where are your guys???
Imagine compromising your faith for fear of offending others??'

  • 'Repeal' is the pro abortion campaign. The snippets I shared are from pro-life folk on Twitter. Our own little Counter Culture shared this

  • I took some flak from fellow pro-lifers for sharing this. See below A small business owner asked me to share. He has this displayed in his shop.

'100% respect but we'll lose the referendum if we frame it in terms of religion.'

'You need to know your audience. Religion has its place. So okay to share in a prayer group etc, not so much on the door steps

'Agreed, this referendum along with the already passed SSM is a rebellion vote against the Catholic Church for its failures in Irish society. ProLife need to keep religion out of the centre of this debate going forward. Pray in private that this approach will work if you must.'

    I replied to them

'Most pro life groups here in Ireland are secular but religious people have every right to campaign and help save the 8th. Public prayer and door to door included.'
