This site https://support.google.com/trustedstores/answer/1687195 says that "Google Trusted Stores doesn't allow content related to abortion that uses violent language or gruesome imagery."

I asked them:

What is exactly meant by this? Does the prohibition include educational or medical content related to abortion? If so, why is this prohibition in force?

They responded:

Google Trusted Stores program does not permit the promotion of sites that contain violent or gruesome abortion-related language or images.

The promotion of abortion-inducing drugs is restricted based on the country you’re targeting. Abortion related content that uses violent language or gruesome imagery is not allowed. In Australia, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom where we are piloting our program as well, Google does not allow the promotion of abortion and abortion related medicines. In addition, Google does not allow medicines and supplements marketed as causing abortion.

The program is managed by a set of policies which we develop based on several factors, including business, legal, and cultural considerations, as well as user and customer experience. We review our policies regularly and make changes to keep them current and effective. Our goal is to have policies that are fair, consistent, and adaptable.

Although I'm disappointed they don't allow imagery that shows abortion for what it is, it's good that they don't "allow the promotion of abortion and abortion related medicines" or "medicines and supplements marketed as causing abortion."

Since they do list Plan B / emergency contraceptives, they certainly don't consider an abortifacient something that only could act as one.
