Promoting perversion helps their bottom line.
No abortions, no delivery fees, no maternity leaves, no paternity leaves, no daycare, no missed work due to a sick child, etc.
Yet endless money is dumped into training people only to have them quit after 6 months.
If you prop up families with things like good health care, maternity/paternity leave, sick leave, etc., you'll grow a base of long-term, dedicated employees rather than the rotating-door in most places these days where you can never have a dedicated, knowledgeable staff (not that you really need such at Netflix or Disney, but I digress). It's the fact that they cannot look past the bottom-line of the current quarter that they are hemorrhaging money at this point.
