- The majority of college degrees go wasted, are never used in the profession one ends up in.
- Today, college is very expensive, and most people will never make enough money from the degree to even breakeven.
- 50% of a BS degree is just a repeating of a good highschool education. This is done in order to milk more money from the students
- If people would consider on the job experience, working, as college, where you get paid $20,000-$50,000 per year in not having to pay for college, plus say minimum wage of $15,000 per year, you are really making $35-$50,000 per year. And look for work where you can learn and grow, at the end of 4 years you are way ahead of the college graduate in real world experience.
All of that said, some professions require a degree, therefore, either you avoid those professions, or you have to go to college.
College is expensive and the cost to reward ratio is lousy today, therefore, one should look for alternatives and really think things out.
