 three kids so far. It used to be totally normal for women my age to be well into their child bearing years with a passel of kiddos under foot, now I’m ‘so young’ and single women my age act weird around me. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Naturally, we’re not in normal times by any means, but it is sad that young families are shot in the foot before they even start to walk. 😥

I really enjoyed this interview. Ben Shapiro (my favorite Jєω :D) interview's Mike Rowe. Rowe has an initiate which encourages people to pursue skilled trades which, according to him, have millions of job shortages currently. Any Catholic man (young or otherwise) looking to support a family should consider this excellent advice, when applicable (College isn't "bad"; its just not for everyone- and that's okay!).

Yes, skilled trades can be a good way to make a good income and raise a family. My husband is a remodeling contractor, which is just a fancy name for "carpenter." He'll be retiring in a couple of years, and there aren't enough carpenters in our area to replace him. Few young men seem to want to go into carpentry nowadays - maybe because it's really hard work. But it is a much-needed profession, and it pays well, though insurance is high (for licensing and bonding).

My youngest son graduated four years ago from a public university (and now has to pay back student loans). He said that the "one-night-stand" culture is the norm at the university that he attended. It's a bad situation, but a Catholic can possible stay aloof from that sort of culture if they are strong in their faith.

My son obtained his degree in accounting, and has a well-paying job, but he said that a book-keeping degree from a community college can also lead to well-paying accounting jobs - it just requires working one's way up the ladder after starting out near the bottom. Still, its doable.

That is because they have been completely brainwashed. They have been misled into delusions about their time left to make a family.
