Yes and last week when he was newly re-assigned to this church, the first thing he did before the sermon was to introduce himself and list all his credentials.  Made me smile....he made sure the congregation knew he was validly ordained.
If I could give this multiple 👍, I would!
Excellent!
What is a “wise phone?”  Is it just an older, non-internet flip phone?   Or is it something between a regular iPhone and a flip phone?  How do I get one?

Been a minute since I've posted on here.....

Came across this by complete accident, but glad I stopped by to watch the video.  My family and I were fortunate enough to have Father Jacobs at our Chapel for the last few years....he was recently transferred to Arcadia.

He is a very humble priest, very holy, and very caring...he married 2 of my children and baptized 7 of my grandchildren.

He is unique in that he preaches these types of sermons regularly, which is rare for an SSPX priest....he even preaches against NFP (again, rare).  The people of Arcadia should consider themselves blessed to have such a priest.

Good to see there are so many people I remember that are still posting here on CI.

Excellent ... and welcome back.  Speaking out against NFP commends him even more.  So, the fact that he genuinely cares for souls came through in his sermon.  From time to time you'll get the "academic" types, who recite the principles well enough, but then do not apply them toward a pastoral zeal for souls, so it's nice to hear you confirming my initial impressions.  I have encountered some other very good SSPX priests even if the newer regime, so our criticisms of SSPX leadership and political positions should not be taken as a denunciation of all the good priests at SSPX, as there are many.  Nor should our criticism of the failure of SSPX to conditionally ordain priests be taken as an attack on the priests who have not been conditionally ordained, since many of us care about them also and feel as though we're advocating for them by putting pressure on SSPX to remedy the situationi and make sure those poor priests are provided with indubitably valid Holy Orders.
