It's funny when the weather reporters talk about records, and how in the 1950's or 1890's it was record hot, while they also try to push global warming.

I've seen this as well. When we smash a 100-year record, no one bats an eye that it was ONLY ONE DEGREE HOTTER 100 years ago, when no one owned cars, had an electric bill, and there were no server farms for bitcoin mining, AI, or webhosting.
Basically, mankind was barely touching the earth back then (by their standards I mean: CO2 etc.) -- 1920's Man had only slightly more impact on the earth than monkeys or dolphins.
