  • Back in September, there several pagan holidays.  The don’t say “happy holidays.”  The holiday is named. Then comes Christmas.   But it’s happy holidays. Happy kwanza, hannuka etc.  but no Merry Christmas!!!
May God bless you and keep you

  • It seems the last real Christmas stamp was 2016.

Please note artists used prostitutes to model for Madonna and Child which isn’t really Christmas.  Christmas is the Nativity.

Christians are lukewarm for allowing this.
Please explain to me what Christians (including yourself of course) should be doing about this?

  • I buy these in bulk and then use them all year long.  No one says you can't use religious stamps all year.

    Wise Kings Stamp
Me surprised that Canada Post is highlighting the Holy Family on the most recent stamp booklet. (Nov.4, 2024)
I have to laugh though...They inaugurated (cancelled?) this edition in the town of Trinity, Newfounland, because of its association with the Holy Trinity. So do they think that the Holy Family is also THE HOLY TRINITY!!!??? But I give them top marks for the bold effort to even mention the word CHRISTMAS, and showing a tender desire to spread the dogma around. Really?!

Stamps are not going anywhere fast: This is the third week of Canada Post workers on S T R I K E  ~

New stamps celebrate Christmas and the holiday season
Illustrations of the Holy Family and whimsical depictions of gingerbread houses offer sacred and secular designs for seasonal mailings.

OTTAWA – Today, Canada Post released two stamp issues marking the festive, winter season. The company has produced Christmas designs every year since 1964 and, for nearly 20 years, has offered stamps featuring secular holiday imagery.

The latest Christmas stamp depicts a vibrant coloured illustration of the Holy Family. It shows Mary and Joseph looking lovingly at the infant Jesus. A star is visible overhead, which was said to announce the birth and lead the Magi to Jesus.

The stamp was designed by Underline Studio and illustrated by Amanda Arlotta. Printed by Lowe-Martin, the issue includes a booklet of 12 Permanent™ domestic rate stamps and an Official First Day Cover (OFDC). The stamp of the OFDC was cancelled in Trinity, Newfoundland and Labrador, because of the picturesque town’s reference to the Holy Trinity.

This year’s secular holiday issue features elaborately decorated gingerbread houses with all their creature comforts – a birdhous...

  • Christmas is excluded from the poster.  Christians should get angry and write letters.  Send emails.  Use your Facebook to send message  other Christians.

There are plenty of shops that are selling blasphemous stuff too.  But Catholics are silent.  Maybe they are into the blasphemy and thinks it’s funny.

One year I call the local Novus ordo parish( I wasn’t diplomatic). I then  followed up with a kind letter explaining to them that as Catholics there shouldn’t be Holiday tree display but call it Christmas trees on display.

Squeaky wheel get the grease.  You can vote all you want but when you don’t take simple Christian actions, we end up with more compromise.  Other false religions scream  and holler even to promote their satanic views.

Most in important who wouldn’t want to defend our God -Our Lord- Jesus Christ.

Our Lord is being crucified all over again.

Read Isaiah in your Catholic bibles.  God is going to punish this present day Sodom and Gomorrah society.

May God bless you and keep you

  • Holly- from Indiana.  I was born in Huntington.  The picture of Christmas stamps shown, look similar to St-Mary-of-the-woods.  Sister/nuns of France came to Indiana in 1830 about.  Settled in Terra Haute, Vincennes.  Our Lady was also known as Divine Providence.  Google/look online for St-Mary-of-the-Woods and see Her and Christ the Child.

Along with many others, I've been praying, fasting and writing letters for decades and when the internet was new, using social media (as I am sure you have done also.)
