  • Great article Chant! Ive been wanting to work on a anime esque Santa Claus crossed with Thor the Norse god of war! As soon as its finished and my scanner is working again I'll post it for all to enjoy!

  • I don't like the fact that adults are lying to children when they tell them about this mythical figure of Santa Claus. I think Gilbert had mentioned something about the character of Santa Claus actually deriving from the Norse god Thor indeed, CS. Somehow St. Nicholas got tied in through Dutch culture I think, or maybe through French culture it has seemed to me now. If one would tell children the truth, they may get sad at first, but then they might be alright if you assure them of getting their presents still. It is about the presents anyway for the children, not ultimately about actually loving someone that is not real. Now Jesus is real indeed, and He should be the One loved, not a mythical figure.
