Huge pay hike for an unqualified individual with zero degree in the field. It proves one doesn’t need a university degree.
Standard revolutionary commie tactic: the long march through the institutions. They've already trashed the NYPD and the District Attorneys to the point where criminals have more rights than their victims. (We already know what they did to hospitals everywhere.) Now they're targeting the FDNY. Physical strength? Fortitude? Courage? Selflessness? Code of honor? People had better learn their prayers to Saint Florian and Saint Catherine of Siena rather than trust in calling 911.
Curious why Saint Florian and Catherine of Siena? What are they patron Saints of?
Florian (Latin: Florianus; AD 250 – c. 304) was a Christian holy man and the patron saint of chimney sweeps; soapmakers, and firefighters. [...] He joined the Roman Army and advanced in the ranks,[3] rising to commander of the imperial army in the Roman province of Noricuм. In addition to his military duties, he was also responsible for organizing and leading firefighting brigades. Florian organized and trained an elite group of soldiers whose sole duty was to fight fires.[4] [...] Florian was sentenced to be burned at the stake. Standing on the funeral pyre, Florian is reputed to have challenged the Roman soldiers to light the fire, saying "If you wish to know that I am not afraid of your torture, light the fire, and in the name of the Lord I will climb onto it."[5]
Saint Catherine is the patroness of fire protection because her sister saw her deep in prayer in the kitchen, engulfed in flames from the stove. When she was pulled out, there was no evidence of burn marks on her body.
