  • I have just dived into the unknown waters that is the Twitterverse. To save me from being so lonely there and because I reckon there are a lot of interesting and important Catholics on Twitter, I thought it would be useful to create a list of people to follow...

Some folk I have found so far:

Thomas Peters (Catholic news & humour) - http://twitter.com/americanpapist
Friar Alessandro (Singer and offers great 'thoughts of the day') - http://twitter.com/friaralessandro
Integrated Catholic Life (profile for the magazine - integrating faith, family and work) http://twitter.com/intcatholiclife
    Catholicism (Catholicism news) -  http://twitter.com/catholicism

    And me! http://twitter.com/catholiclare

If you're on Twitter please make yourselves known and I shall follow you!

    Clare

  • Oopsie, I just realised I missed a 'c' out...

    It's http://twitter.com/catholicclare

During my first 48 hours I've received some really great information - including a Catholic Music Playlist on Spotify and new Catholic Radio station to listen to...

I'd be really interested to hear about other people's experiences...

  • Traditional Catholics aren't normally interested in Facebook or Twitter for certain reasons.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

Sure, I suspect I already know why, but In the spirit of education, I would be interested in hearing why from your good self? Perhaps you'll persuade me to use forums only!

(I also did try to delete the thread when I got that impression but was unable.)

Well, I am not interested in either FB or Twitter for several reasons. For one thing, I consider them both to be a distraction, something used to get our minds off of God.

And for another thing, I think it's just a tool of the government to track us and gather info on us.
