    •   Be careful of a trend among secularized muslim men to marry western catholic girls. Being unsatisfied with their own heritage and lack of progress they lust after modernism without being willing to accept hard parts of it (ie. feminism, sɛҳuąƖ freedom etc.)
      The result is a desire for catholic girl who are both ''valuable'' and ''traditionally feminine'' AND "from the better happier world of the west".
      They want to have their cake and eat it too.

    •   It is true Cupertino, but not all men approach ladies the way you approach them in the west (that is telling them directly what you want be it marriage, friendship etc.).
      Fundies and secularied muslims are expert in hiding their romantic plans as long as they want and playing with a girl's emotions without her recognizing it at all.
      They approach you and say they just have some questions or need some advice and thing like that. Their apparent modesty removes all doubts from your mind and you can't even imagine that they are silently working their way into your heart.
