Funny how the "Freedom from Religion Foundation" got all bent out of shape over a statue of a solider praying at a grave with a cross on it, but not over this satanic monument.
As for the monument itself, this is obviously a horrific abomination. But it is not surprising that these things are going up because so few oppose it, and especially the hierarchy of what most people consider the Catholic Church do nothing.
The novus ordo presbyter made one decent point: “You’re invoking Satan,” he said. “Traditionally, Christians have understood that when you invoke demons, you’re cursing yourself and your community.”
Although of course I would word it much more strongly. This isn't about "traditional understanding", the people making these monuments ARE cursing themselves and their community and much evil will rain town upon this town as a result of honouring satan or at best, allowing him to be honoured.
