HONG KONG — Cardinal Joseph Zen has been arrested by the authorities in Hong Kong, according to local media reports.
The 90-year-old former bishop of Hong Kong was reportedly detained in his role as a trustee of the 612 Humanitarian Relief Fund, which helped pro-democracy protesters to pay their legal fees.
The Standard newspaper reported that the trustees were arrested on Wednesday evening local time, according to sources.
The fund, which was founded in 2019, disbanded last year after the national security police ordered it to share operational details, the newspaper said.

If you recall that one Oriental lady who grabbed Berogoglio's hand (and he slapped her hand away ... which I didn't think was a big deal ... if that were the least of Bergoglio's issues) ... I vaguely recall somewhere that she was complaining about the sellout of the Church in China.

Bergoglio later apologized for that, but his apology was more of JP2's thinkig that man is god.

“Every form of violence inflicted upon a woman is a blasphemy against God, who was born of a woman.”

So slapping a woman's hand (woman wasn't a religious or something) is a blashemy against God?  Even when apologizing, he gets it wrong.
