The modern surveillance state has a torrent of information, but it is not much good with filtering it. If someone were to learn to operate without a mobile phone and social media, this super spy state is blinded. See how fast the puppet Afghan state fell. These people are incompetent.

Or credit cards or automobiles or ATM cards ... there are myriad ways to track people these days. You'd have to get a ton of cash out and move about on a bicycle or on foot, and live in the woods. Either that or you'd have to obtain a fake ID to stay a hotels. Even then they have cameras everywhere ... although wearing a mask would come in handy there. But, then, under those conditions, it's nearly impossible to organize anything.

Yes, they have many sources of data, but drawing data together and forming it into actionable information is not that easy. Take cameras. They aren't monitored by anyone central in most places. They are usually low quality, and often wiped. You can get multiple sim cards without ID easily enough, plus a big number of burner phones, basic drug dealer level precautions. If someone is mindful of their information footprint, they don't need to be dramatic. Now these days a lot of places don't accept cash, for nonsense reasons, but places that do are not hard to find. Extreme caution only arises if someone is hunted.

I see the issue with 5G as a means to enhance the surveillance state, and on that, the brothers did well. We cannot keep despising effort, and suspecting everyone is a fed. If one looks at history, powerful states can crumble in a moment if a sufficient number come to despise their authority. No state can survive if the mass of people throw off their timidity.

I agree.
It doesn't take more than 5-10% of the population to start a real revolution.

If everyone did their BEST to resist evil, evil wouldn't be so triumphant. Imagine if Trads acted more like, say, Muslims about blasphemy. We wouldn't be seeing so much blasphemy around us right now. And the proof is found in history itself: when Catholics were strong, such was indeed the case. Even Hollywood was held in check -- they had to cater, bow & scrape to the Legion of Decency.

We are all in different living situations, in different bodies with different abilities. But if each resisted, say, the COVID scam ACCORDING TO THEIR ABILITY, this thing would be over in a week. A 60 year old woman doesn't need to perform the same "works of resistance" as a 17 year old boy in prime health. Ripping down banners talking about "masks mandatory" or "the pandemic" would fall to the latter, certainly.

Exactly! The bad guys don't have a vice grip on us -- but OH BOY do they ever want us to THINK they do!

All the nonsense about AI can be safely dismissed. Computers can't even tell the difference between Greek characters and the Roman letters they resemble. Computers are just CALCULATORS, they need to be programmed, and a 6 year old child has more REASON and INTELLIGENCE than they have, or ever will.

Without "forced volunteers" to look over the surveillance camera footage, they'll never be able to do anything with that atomic mountain of data. Computers and "AI" can't do jack squat to help out, either. If computers could tell what's in a picture, what would be the purpose of a CAPTCHA image? Shouldn't computers be able to solve CAPTCHAs? Hmmm?

These scalawags didn't well, at all: Two attempts, no success, caught by the police, saved by a woman.

Everybody knows that you need some training first. If you want to take down the enemy's communications systems, you first have to travel to Kabul or Kandahar to get some expert advice. You don't turn into an Apostle of Barabbas overnight just by watching some of Alison McDowell's or Celeste Solum's videos.
