    • Do we have any info on Database application of Vial Events known as D.A.V.E.    States are holding back dead bodies, and not burying them till a Death Certificate is available.  Very Sad!  Where do the bodies pile up?

    • Hasn't a death certificate always to be produced in order to bury?
    Aren't bodies kept in a morgue or at an undertaker's?

    • Right now, from what I understand, every state is going through changes to this D.A.V.E.  Bodies are piling up in the freezers.  Loved ones are told, if your doctor did not sign this new "?", you may not bury your loved one till the death certificate arrives, 3 weeks?  In the news, it states, where will all these bodies end up?  It happened to a man I know.  His daughter died a week ago and he was told, no burial until the death certificate comes and so he is looking at mid November to bury his daughter.  My husbands cousin, same thing happened and the family must wait.

    • Used to be, you buried your loved one and then the death certificate comes in about 3 weeks to do necessary closure.

    When the deceased is Jєωιѕн, there's no way they could get away with this. Jєωs always bury their dead the NEXT DAY.
    .
    To delay their tradition would be anti-Semitic!! Horrors.

    • I haven't heard of any such problems.  I've had a few family members and friends pass away in the past few years, and they did not experience any such problems.

    One thing I have heard about is families not paying the funeral home their bill, so the funeral home doesn't release the body for burial.  So, the bodies are kept in storage somewhere until the bill is paid.

    • That is true about the Jєωs.  I forgot about that.  Well, my husbands cousin, that died Oct. 14, will have a ceremony for life (?) Nov. 1 and that is not a burial, they are waiting for cremation, or should I say, waiting for the death certificate.   Now, know this also, along with D.A.V.E. are other certificates: marriage, fetal death, birth certificates which come under (vital effects).  There was a book called, "Trends" ? and I think it was in there the changes to take place such as; no marriage till you get permission.  SO, my mind thinks, will they try this?
