Bought My Sheriff a Case of Beer

    • Busch Light, the finest beer ever crafted.

    It was in gratitude for his policy of not enforcing the illegal Minnesota mask mandate.

    I walked in the front door of the Sheriff's department (without mask), and up to the information booth.

    I asked if the Sheriff was available, and they asked me what this was in regards to.

    I hoisted up the case of beer onto the counter, with the 'thank you' card taped onto it (message exposed; no envelope).

    It got big smiles from the lady in the booth, and a rather puzzled look from the Sheriff's secretary, but I'm hoping a little encouragement and support will let them know that most people in our county resent the government overreach, and are grateful for his resistance to it.

    I can see a nationwide trend starting. Though I hope "Busch" doesn't support BLM or LGBTQDP.

    Philosophically speaking, I think regular Busch quart bottles would be a better gift for the Police. 

    (They need more caloric intake to fight the BLM crazies)




    But if you really wanted to spoil them... give them a case of the Pope's beer.

    Yikes! :facepalm: You need to come out to the west coast and go on a brewery tour. The best beer in the world comes from the three left-coast states, not sure how or why. Those glorious IPAs and pale ales are made by communist hipsters, but man that stuff is the best brew ever produced on this earth. ;)

    Agreed.  That commercial stuff isn't real beer.  I like Great Lakes Brewery stuff in the Cleveland area.

    There's a lot of excellent beer in Minnesota too. Tons of craft beers and IPA brands all around the state. Beaver Island is a pretty excellent one you can find up in Central MN.
