Then you want
this Bible.
I have the 1883 version, I think it weighs about 10 pounds. According to the website, this is an exact photographic reprint, which is the reason why I recommend it. If it is exact as they say, then it is definitely sturdy, heavy, and hardback with a family register included and is true to the original translation with no modernization.
It says: "Those who are not familiar with this indispensable Bible will be pleased to learn that it is an exact photographic reprint of the 1883 version originally published by Gately & Co., complete with extensive commentary by the Rev. Geo. Leo Haydock, from whom the Bible gets its name. Great care and countless hours have been spent scanning and cleaning up each and every one of the over 1780 pages as well as faithfully reproduce the glory and grandeur of the original hardbound cover. We pray we have given justice to this timeless masterpiece!"
If you're not familiar with the Haydock Bible,
here is a link to show you the plentiful and Church approved, extensive commentaries throughout the whole Bible. A truly awesome wedding gift for sure.
