Greetings Old Friends,

I'd like to alert you, in case you pass through there, that Vox is currently conducting a purge at the Fish Eaters forum. It's a characteristically tyrannical purge, and is therefore being carried out with little rhyme or reason. If one must identify its predominant engine, one might say that it's being done in the name of one of today's defining features: militant mediocrity. So if you go there, be sure to behave as blandly as possible. Let this be your mantra: "Maximum banality, maximum banality, maximum banality, maximum banality...." Just a heads up.

I noticed Alaric was banned all of a sudden. Maybe I just never read or recognized anything from him that was "controversial." A lot of people liked his posts, from what I gather.

Scipio, I could understand. He was always difficult to deal with, and antagonized everyone.
