    • Perhaps polemic in nature but a friend of mine was contacted regarding a pro-life petition. In relation to a scandal at Seattle University.

     In reply he sent them this.

Proximate means "close." He does not need to go through the local Bishop/ Parish Priest/ Superior of the Religious Order to stop this, and censure those responsible.

    I am not making any sort of point as regards the "unalterable" - as St. Thomas Acquinas puts it - Constitution of the Catholic Church.  I just detest it when people pretend that Benedict XVI is "pro-life" when he clearly is not.


    We could be signing petitions all day and never get to the root of the problem.
