  • I was thinking about my situation after baptism...
well, some times being at Mass can be a problem.when two women sitting behind you are talking,Or backbitting.when a child bring his/her noisy toy with himself, etc. etc.
I am worried because it is an obligation to go to Mass(even though you are scandalized there!)I wonder if I can have other options like choosing a day or an hour in which I can be alone at Mass?
    any advise?

  • Have you tried going to the earliest possible Mass? Some Masses are at 6:30 AM or 7 AM. Very few people attend them, usually older people, and you might find more quite.

  • blessed are you.
I pray God to give you the same grace he gave to some Saints who walked many many miles to Mass in winter summer etc.

  • All things conduce to the greater glory of God and our greater good, whether prosperous or adverse, even those things which often distract us.

St. Therese used to offer the distractions to God, or pretend they were music instead of annoying sounds produced by her fellow nuns.

Life is full of things which COULD prevent recollection, spiritual progress, sanctity, etc.  They only WILL prevent such if we LET THEM DO SO.  If we use accept them rightly, they will be the very source of our growth.  It is up to us.
