  • They needn’t be banned.  What should be banned are mean-spirited, name-calling, vindictive posts when we don’t agree with someone.  Rather than just criticism of another’s post, why not require making a better or alternative suggestion?

    I thought the same thing!  What’s wrong with pot roast?  It’s Lent, but it can be eaten at the appropriate times unless you’ve “given it up for Lent.”  I rather like pot roast myself, although I’ve not had any recently since the price of meat is ridiculous, not on budget.  
    It brought to mind an amusing poem a Baptist friend sent me many years ago. There was a line with the words,
    ”Out of the kitchen, into the sanctuary,
    Less pot roast, more Holy Ghost!”
