  •   I wonder what will happen if God would pour the grace of conversion on China and India the countries that together contain one third of the whole humanity?
And if He adds Russia too? then a greater part of this planet will belong to the church.

But coming out of my daydreams it sems that even the remaining number of Catholics leave this continent some to avoid persecution and others to live in a faithful environment near to a church.

I wonder if we have to evacuate and leave the birth place of our religion to pagans.....

Do you think God wants it?

  • You are to be a light unto the world.  I think God raised you up where you are to lighten that area of the world.

  •   Not just me, but so many others in Iraq, kurdistan and Israel etc. Is it really practical if we all leave and ask a Country like Italy or Malta to accept all of us?

  • I think it depends on one's vocation. Some great missionaries in history left their pagan lands to learn and strengthen their Faith in order to return later and convert their people. Clearly, for them it was God's will they leave and His will that they return.

  • As difficult as it may be, I think one should stay in the land of his or her birth and do whatever he may to bring his nation to the Faith. God must have found you most productive in your present location since He placed you there first, but it is always a possibility that He may force you to move somewhere else He will need you in the future... until then, stay at the battlements of the Persian front!
