…Now in the case of Mark79, Epiphany, and Digital Logos to a lessor degree, there is nothing for me to discuss, I no longer bother to read anything they write, I just skip over them.…

Yeah, that's OK. I don't read yours either… not even the one I quoted above. :laugh2:

how does what a person looks like and how he lives affect the validity of a logical argument?
What a person looks like and how he lives does not affect a logical argument at all. The logical argument is what it is.  The problem on the internet is that the logical argument can be obscured, totally hidden from sight from pages of chaff from a teenager writing from his parent's basement and others arguing or agreeing with him. If one were face to face, they would dismiss the teenager from the get-go. That obscuring can be seen in almost all threads, in the end, the threads become useless because one can't find the logical argument, as a matter of fact sometimes one can't even remember what the discussion was about. This can be seen in any BOD debate threads started by XavierSem or LOT.

Hey, dude, everybody's equal and everybody's got to be somewhere. It's not my fault if you feel demoralized, but check this out, just a clip.

everybody's equal
Fallacy.

There are people superior to us in something or everything no matter who we are.  On earth there are people who are born to lead and others that are born to serve. In Heaven there is a hierarchy of angels and of saints. In Heaven, I will be dust compared to say, Padre Pio, let alone St. Peter, even if I am privileged enough to be martyred.

They who are enlightened to walk in the way of perfection, and through lukewarmness wish to tread the ordinary paths, shall be abandoned. (Bl. Angela of Foligno)

They who are to be saved as Saints, and wish to be saved as imperfect souls, shall not be saved. (Pope St. Gregory the Great)

It's the American way to be so equal that we are going to be equal until it hurts and most people are broke. That's why the "zillionare Jews" of International Jewry run our banking and finance. So we can all be equal like that.
