  • I am going for a degree in Secondary Ed/Spanish with an endorsement in Middle School.   Worrying about whether I will have a job next year and also how I, as a Catholic, will be able to survive a public school.  (The so-called Catholic schools, while they have better discipline, pay very little, I have heard of teachers making 20 thousand!).  I heard in Middle School they can just require you to teach Sex ed for example.   I suppose I need to learn my legal rights as to refusing that.

  • Never, ever go to another Novus Ordo Mass, or have anything to do with its power structure. Get your degree, and teach in a school attached to one of the Traditional Catholic organizations. You won't make much money but neither will you be participating in a Satanic system designed to turn kids into liberal, materialistic drones.

  • I wouldn't send my worst enemy's kids to a public school.

So-called "Catholic" schools attached to the Novus Ordo sect do more harm than good. I made the mistake of putting my daughter in one, thinking that it would be a better option than public schools. Wrong.

Parochial schools in the NO world have been responsible for millions of young people losing their faith.

I know that the plural of anecdote is not data, but just look at the case of Lady Gaga, lifelong parochial school student. What did she learn there? Go look at the webpage of the school she attended. Their priorities are defending gαys and protecting the environment.

Take a gander at their website. No mention of the Catholic Faith whatsoever. Most of these parochial schools are embarrassed by their origins.

    http://www.cshnyc.org/

Look at the public figures and mass media entertainment stars who went to "Catholic" schools. Then show me one, just one, who defends or practices the Faith.

  • If I have kids one day, I am not going to send my kids to public school.   But I may teach in one.  Spanish is pretty neutral subject you can dodge stuff that is contrary to the Faith.  I believe in the Opus Dei approach....infiltrate and change what you can for the better.

My ultimate goal, however, is to start my own language school and work for myself.

  • I have many friends from Ukraine.  During communism people HAD to accept jobs working for the evil state.   I think we are in a similar situation.  It's called material cooperation.   I would love a job in a traditional school, if I could find one.  On the other hand, I am a Feeneyite so most of those places would probably reject me.   I definitely could not pretend that there is salvation outside the Church to keep my job.  On the other hand in a public school, the issue would probably not come up.

But I have hope,   I am praying to St. Joseph, let's see what he comes up with for me.

I am not a sedevacantist and I do not believe that the Novus Ordo Mass or ordination rites are invalid.  I don't think it is so cut and dry as you make it out to be that everyone in the "Conciliar Church" is heretical.  This is the age of confusion and there are many material heretics out there.   In the absence of a Pope that does his job, none of these people are being put on trial so that it can be really tested to see if they are material or formal heretics.   This is the age of confusion.  I believe the Church is going through a purfication.

I never said that everybody in the Conciliar Church is a heretic. Just the clergy and the hierarchy and 95% of the people sitting in the pews. There are a few who have somehow kept the Faith.

If you're Opus Dei, then you belong to a fαℓѕє fℓαg operation whose job is to keep people who think they're conservative attached to the Conciliar Church. Opus Dei was set up to keep the conservatives busy so they wouldn't ask too many questions about the true nature of Vat II and would stay within the Conciliar Church. It has undoubtedly siphoned off a lot of good people who otherwise would be good solid trads.

Not to mention the fact that it's creepy and secretive, like the Freemasons and apparently the Birchers. No Christian keeps his knowledge and actions secret.

  • No I am not Opus Dei...LOL   By "Opus Dei approach" I just meant the ideal of sanctification through work, entering the world and trying to change the things you can, etc.

Opus Dei has "Bread of Life" by Father Feeney on their Index of Forbidden Books.   I wouldn't last a day in Opus Dei.   Their priests are decent confessors however.

  • For Pete's sake, the JBS is NOT a secretive society!  Go to their meetings, talk to them, ask questions, read their material before you judge or I should say, misjudge them.  The enemy is working overtime to smear them.  What a shame.  You sound like some non-Catholics I've met that think they know about the Catholic church but when questioned on what they know it's mostly false & superstitious with a tiny bit of truth thrown in to make it sound plausible.   PLEASE!

  • I'm a teacher by trade, but don't teach full time anymore.  I've taught in public, private & trad schools.  You learn to keep your mouth shut wherever you teach.  I was paid to teach their curriculum and that's exactly what I did.
