This!

Did they call back?  It may have been a scam call. 
I received one recently from a woman who said she was with the South Dakota Board of Health.
I don’t normally answer unknown numbers, but I was expecting a call about a defective item I purchased online. Often online businesses contract out their customer service departments. 
It took a few seconds for me to register what was said, “This is Julie calling from the SD Dept. of Health. Is _____ there?”  (She used my legal given name, not what I go by with family and friends.  This quirk has come in handy for years!)  I asked her, “How’s the weather out there?”  She paused and said, “Cloudy, I’m calling to—“. I cut her off by saying, “Wrong number!” and hanging up.  The last time I was in South Dakota was 1969!  She didn’t call back, sure sign of a scam!
Or maybe I was going to be offered a free SD vacation for getting the jab?  💉

When I get those weird calls about my car warranty, I ask them if they love Jesus. 

I have three phone numbers, and I get at least one call per phone per day.  It’s very annoying!
