  • Ever wonder why Jєωs and other worldlings are better at making money in this world, starting all sorts of businesses and becoming materially successful?

Ever wonder if Trads set their sights a bit low, not having the ambition (etc.) to go out there and be successful and become leaders in the world, even the business world?

You know how some people say Trads are too isolationist, with a bunker mentality, don't have enough ambition, are lazy, and/or they wait too much for the end of the world?

I've heard all this a thousand times. But then there's this. A Catholic could theoretically set up an "online dating" site, but then he'd get sued when he refused to match up sodomites to help facilitate the mortal sin of sodomy:

    That's what happened to eHarmony:

    Quote
    gαy marriage
In 2005, the company was sued for discrimination of same-sex couples. To settle a lawsuit, eHarmony in 2009 launched Compatible Partners, a site for gαy and lesbian singles.
When it did so, Warren says 350,000 of its members fled eHarmony out of principle. The company originally started as a Christian dating site and Warren himself is an evangelical.
"We've suffered from the contentiousness of that topic," Warren said, who added that it wasn't about being anti-gαy.
"We didn't want to pretend to be experts on gαy and lesbian couples," said Warren. "We're not anti-gαy at all ...It's a different match."
Warren says the company -- which uses its patented algorithm to connect people based on 29 dimensions of compatibility -- is now seeing success in matching up gαy and lesbian singles on Compatible Partners.

  • This is all sad but very true...

My family has a horse farm, and some people would arrange to have their engagements during the ride.  But then we once had a sodomite couple want to do the same thing, and we faced having to do it or maybe get sued. (We did not realize they were what they were when we first set it up...)

We stormed heaven for help, tried to find a good lawyer, but in the end they ended up cancelling.  Thanks be to God!

To be on the safe side future, we no longer arrange engagements for anyone, and had to post a notice on our website of this fact.

It is SO sad to see how low our country has stooped...

    God help us!

  • I had a debate about this issue with a family member who has fallen away from the Church. The whole debate was provoked by the incident with the bakery that they say refused the cake for the gαy couple.

It seems that anything with dating even the wedding industry (oh, the irony) are off limits. Think about it: if you own a reception hall (would seem to be a really wholesome business) you will eventually have sodomites ask you to host a reception, particularly in my state. It is obviously impossible for anything Catholic to do such a thing. You would get sued, without a doubt.

It's possible that the time has come for people to take a stand. Maybe businesses like that need to explicitly establish that they are Catholic and uphold Catholic morality. Once they're sued by the perverts, they should be able to sue or take action because of the infringement on our freedom of religion.
    "But 'tis strange:
And oftentimes, to win us to our harm,
The instruments of darkness tell us truths,
Win us with honest trifles, to betray's
In deepest consequence.." Banquo, from Shakespeare's Macbeth
