Ever wonder why Jєωs and other worldlings are better at making money in this world, starting all sorts of businesses and becoming materially successful?
Ever wonder if Trads set their sights a bit low, not having the ambition (etc.) to go out there and be successful and become leaders in the world, even the business world?
You know how some people say Trads are too isolationist, with a bunker mentality, don't have enough ambition, are lazy, and/or they wait too much for the end of the world?
I've heard all this a thousand times. But then there's this. A Catholic could theoretically set up an "online dating" site, but then he'd get sued when he refused to match up sodomites to help facilitate the mortal sin of sodomy:
That's what happened to eHarmony:
gαy marriage
In 2005, the company was sued for discrimination of same-sex couples. To settle a lawsuit, eHarmony in 2009 launched Compatible Partners, a site for gαy and lesbian singles.
When it did so, Warren says 350,000 of its members fled eHarmony out of principle. The company originally started as a Christian dating site and Warren himself is an evangelical.
"We've suffered from the contentiousness of that topic," Warren said, who added that it wasn't about being anti-gαy.
"We didn't want to pretend to be experts on gαy and lesbian couples," said Warren. "We're not anti-gαy at all ...It's a different match."
Warren says the company -- which uses its patented algorithm to connect people based on 29 dimensions of compatibility -- is now seeing success in matching up gαy and lesbian singles on Compatible Partners.
