I think this shift goes far beyond simple rebellion, because the issues faced by the younger generations go much deeper.  Gen Z just went through Covid (and most probably believed they might die).  Then the economy is crap.  Everybody is talking about global wars.  The family unit has never been worse.  Feminism has destroyed dating.  Social media and politics revolves around everyone arguing.  So, I can see young people looking around at the chaos of the world and saying, "Everything's falling apart.  I'm going to find something stable." God is stable. 

Plus, young people look at the Boomers and see how (most) have screwed up marriages.  And they look at the Millennials who have gone after career/fun as their god and they are HORRIBLY unhappy (and mostly on anti-depressants).  Learn from others' mistakes, as they say.

Young men, in particular, are seeing the lies of propaganda more clearly than past generations.  They are starting to question the BS of politics, the lies of history and the cultism of modern science.  They are the ones who are going towards political conservatism, FE, conspiracy theories, TLM and rejecting V2, etc.  They are seeing the BS of the last 60 years.  It's gonna get interesting if this generation stays independent in thinking.

Rise of homeschooling producing more independent thinkers too. What do you predict for Gen Alpha? I notice a return to brick phones in some of the very young.

There is a certain percentage of people who will always side with the woman regardless.  She would have to be of the caliber of a Susan Smith or Andrea Yates before they would admit that "there's something wrong here", and for some, possibly not even then.

Our society has certain protected classes of whom no harsh word may ever be spoken, nor may their motivations ever be second-guessed as being anything but the best.  For many, women are one of those protected classes. 

Actually that's not the point. I'm not talking about who the majority of women today would side with, if they watched some tiktok video where the woman opened up to the world about her motivations, etc.

I'm talking about what a normal, disinterested, DECENT person would think -- when no one is around -- for example one of the woman's children. Children are going to be much more objective about their mother's words and behavior. They will still have a sense of shame, even if she doesn't. They aren't going to automatically hate their own father just because he's a man, for example. They will look at the situation objectively, and see what a ***** she was. It will mess them up big-time.
