Title: Amazon Prime Video
Post by: Aristotl on May 28, 2020, 11:03:49 PM
I was wondering if anyone else has noticed the EXCELLENT Catholic Movies on Amazon Prime. Just to name a few The Easter Classic Hill Number One, Beckett, Scarlett and the Black and the Archbishop Sheen series. I'm sure there are many others these are just a few I have watched since the Lockdown began.

I did see the list of them, but i was afraid to watch them because I figured they had to be modernist with an agenda. I am glad that they aren't and I can watch!

I would recommend a british-sitcom catholic series called Father Ted. It ran on Channel 4 in Britain from 1995 to 1998. The show is absolutely hilarious!

The laughs are at the expense of making the priests look like moronic fools and the old priest a drunk.

The Easter Classic Hill Number One
Never heard of that movie. Looked it up and found it on YouTube for free, here

Just watched it with the family. Thanks for the headsup.

God Bless,

Actually after looking more into the actual show, I found some not so good facts about the show. Apparently, One of the creators of the show is an atheist and the other dislikes religion. The woman who played Mrs. Doyle is an atheist. The man who played Father Ted (deceased) was an atheist. The man who played Fr. Dougal describes himself as a "catholic agnostic". Actually, the old drunk priest of the show (deceased) was an actual catholic. So, Miseremini had a point. If your gonna watch this show, take it with a grain of salt. I no longer recommend this show.

Churches closes and most  small businesses are closed and yet Amazon indoor factories were open.  Infact, Vice President quit because there was lack of safety guidelines.  The guy who owns amazon is trillionaire.  This is about doing away with cash.  Now the stimulus  checks now being mailed out late are visa credit debit cards.
