Who else is alone on Christmas?

Maybe Cathinfo will be active? Maybe not.

Nobody should be.

If anything else you have the mass. If you have no family or friends go make a friend through charitable means.

Being alone at Christmas is not necessarily a bad thing.
How many traditional Catholics would PREFER to be home alone with Jesus,
contemplating the real meaning of the day and season, basking in His love
and making a Holy Day, not just a Holy Hour. The day need not be spent on
your knees but rather rejoycing in God's love and thanking Him for keeping His promise to send our Redeemer. True it is wonderful to share
with other humans but think (only briefly) of how many traditional Catholics will
have to spend the day with pagans, near pagans, consumerized children and
maybe evan an occasion of sin.
Take a walk and enjoy all of God's beauty. Mary & Joseph didn't have anyone
to be with in Egypt; they had their heaven on earth because they had Jesus; so do you.

No one is truly alone on Christmas. The angels, the saints, and the love of Heaven are always with folks. :smile:

To avoid a pity-party, sign up or show up at a charitable meal or event. Partake graciously. Stay to help clean up. Serve others. O R Enjoy the solitude. Be in nature, if possible. Pray, listen to music. Do art. Take a stroll. Take a nap. Check CI if you wish, but don't be on it all day. Happy Christmas!

If one has no plans on Christmas day, or if one may like to try something different this year, instead of just thinking about one's own life and one's own enjoyment of this day, to turn one's thoughts to the needs of others.........

In going to help the needy on Christmas day, some thoughts from St. Paul in Scripture and from the life of St. Francis may be of benefit to ponder for a few minutes:

If I was going to be alone on Christmas, or any other holiday, I would volunteer to serve meals at a local soup kitchen.
