    Hope you find something your wife likes!  I have friends who really appreciate a good well-made dress as Christmas presents.  Such a gift from a husband was not uncommon in the old days.

    • I found this mercantile online that creates custom, 100% cotton, modest dresses. The prices are very affordable and the style of some of the dresses don't look too antiquated -- specifically the girls peasant dresses and the prairie dresses. Basically, more natural and modest versions of the maxi dresses most women prefer as their church outfits nowadays.
