Is this satire? The sspx isn't known for their rigorous rules and strict conduct.
I am new here, after watching more Bp Williamson archives and reading the conversation here, I am already seeing that is true.

Are YOU being satirical?
I know of one person who tried handing out mantilla's to women who were blatantly not wearing them for months without correction. He was told to stop. SSPX.
They almost NEVER effectively enforce modesty in their chapels.
People do it by their own volition in the places where it is done. But in many places, (depends on the country), mini skirts and bare heads abound.

The whole idea that the SSPX is some edgy rebellious place you can go to, in order to be counter cultural is absolutely laughable. But this is the narrative that's being forced on Gen Z right now in social media. Try to point that out to these naive individuals and they just block you. Real mature. We're toast.

Apologies. I read your post wrong.

Has anyone ever actually witnessed someone being refused communion, or even entry into chapel, due to immodest dress?

Yes, I’ve seen it multiple times at no sspx chapels.

Can’t say yes/no about the sspx as I don’t regularly go there.  The anecdotal evidence is that the sspx has always (going back to the 90s, at least in America), taken the libertarian approach and usually lets visitors/newcomers do whatever they want.

Once in front of St Nicolas du Chardonnet, as we were speaking with the priest, he noticed a miniskirted girl about to enter the church. He broke off our conversation , explained to her that she wasn't properly dressed, and her embarrassed male friend came to the priest to explain that he was bringing her to visit a church for the first time.

The priest's reply was that her dress was a scandal and that bad example has far more effect on others than a good example, and that she could return when she better dressed.

And as if nothing happened, the priest turned to us and resumed the conversation.
