Albany, NY -- The ACLU is making a claim that Catholic hospitals nationwide refusing abortions for women in very rare instances in which it may somehow be necessary to save their life. But ACLU is coming under fire on its own accord for misrepresenting the situation and trying to force hospitals to do abortions.

You can't kill one to save life of another. End does not jusify the mean or we all could be like moslems.

Suppose that a 3 year old child has a contagious fatal disease and there is nobody to care for him except his mother. But she may catch that disease and die if she does so. But if you kill the child, the mother can remain healthy and live long. Is it OK? No.
If a foetus is human, then murder of a foetus is not less sinful or less inhuman than murder of a 3 year old.

well, since Catholic accept the welfare state and said medical facilites further participate in the welfare state, they are then tied to our secular, antiChristian govt-medicaid, medicare,etc.....
wo, as we have no Catholic state to boot, they are not really credible to complain about it.Sure they can dicker with exceptions clauses, but that is a temp allowance until teh state can eventually crush religious groups and their hospitals,etc.......the federal $$ is waved around and most facilities cannot operate with the $$, unless expensive and private....
