I didn't see when this was posted, but I had to look up the second term, and it's rather repugnant, unbecoming of a lady to use.
I assume 'juggernaut' was meant and was misspelled.

Hypocrisy has an added dimension, where the sinner exonerates himself while denouncing others, considers himself exempt from the standards he uses to judges others by.
Exonerates = excuses himself from the obligation, = the hypocrite excuses himself from the obligation he imposes on others. What you are saying is even less likely to be discovered by what someone writes on a forum. No?  How can one call someone on the internet a hypocrite unless they see how they live? The hypocrite would have to actually write that the obligation he is imposing on others does not apply to him. No?

So how can we know how a person lives that we cannot see? How can we call them a hypocrite if we do not see how they live, if they practice what they preach?  There is no way here in a forum. The only way would be that that person contradicts himself in his writings on the forum, like say a man says women should wear dresses that cover their legs, but in another place he says it is Ok for men to wear Speedos.

I think the people who call others hypocrites here on CI are just protesting against about a more perfect, virtuous practice being proposed to them that they think is not necessary (or too difficult, or impossible) and that the person suggesting it does not practice themselves.

Perhaps they should just ask if the person proposing it actually practices it? THAT would answer both questions, that it can be done, and that the one espousing it actually has done it.

Right, it's impossible to determine hypocrisy on an internet forum if the person is anonymous.  There's a looser sense, but it's more typically called "Pharisaism" and not hypocrisy in the strict sense where one might adopt an attitude of superiority along the lines of, "God, I think you that I am not like one of these."

I hope so, although I'm not sure that that insult means either, that they trample on people [somehow]?  Usually juggernaut refers to the notion that someone is unstoppable.

I think the insult was referring to the non-stop smugness, "abuse" and uncharity that Anne felt.
