Our Lady of Fatima showed the Three Children Hell for a reason- The Lake of Fire is real, begins Twenty or so miles beneath our feet, and is Eternal. St Sr Lucia said that it was only because Our Lady had guaranteed to take them to Heaven that she did not die of fright, though the vision lasted only an instant. (Many people heard her cry out, the only time during the apparitions where any of the children were visibly upset.) A photo of the children just minutes after that somber July apparition shows them still somewhat sad and disturbed from the vision. No joy was in the proverbial Mudville that day.
Yes, The Sacred Heart of Jesus did converse with St Margaret Mary Alocoque for several years late in the 17th Century, culminating with the request of Our Lord for the King of France to consecrate his country to the Sacred Heart. Three Kings- Louis XIV, Louis XV, and Louis XVI, ignored His request. Exactly 100 years later, in June of 1789, the Tennis Court Oaths deposed King Louis XVI, and France has been for the most part a Bloody Battleground ever since, witnessing the pogroms of the Revolutionaries, the Napoleonic Wars, upheavals, the Franco-Prussian War of 1870, WW1 in 1914, WW2 in 1940, and disturbances ever since, up to the present day. God is patient, but He does not take being slighted or dismissed easily.
